About the Author
Paolo Pejrone studied under Russell Page and Roberto Burle Marx, masters of twentieth-century garden design. Since then, he has created gardens in Germany, Saudi Arabia, Spain, France, and the U.K. Dario Fusaro is a photographer of gardens, architecture, and landscapes.
"[Paolo Pejrone]'s new book Private Italian Gardens (Mondadori Electa) highlights this illustrious past, but it can barely hint at the future: Pejrone is busier than ever, tending to a grand estate on Capri, a Renzo Piano–designed hospital in Bologna, and a historic plot near Piazza San Marco in Venice." —Architectural Digest
